Part Time Studio Manager

Job Title: Part-Time Studio Manager
Location: Glassell Park, Los Angeles, CA
Hours: 6-12 hours per week (Primarily Tuesday through Thursday). Flexibility dury busy season a must.

Offerings Floral Design Studio is a high-end floral design company specializing in luxury events and bespoke floral arrangements. We pride ourselves on creating meaningful and elegant designs for our clients, ranging from private events to collaborations with prestigious brands. We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Studio Manager to help manage day-to-day operations, allowing our creative team to focus on what they do best.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:

    • Respond to client inquiries and manage email communications.

    • Schedule client consultations and maintain the studio calendar.

    • Assist with drafting proposals, contracts, and invoices.

  2. Studio Organization:

    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are easily accessible.

    • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.

    • Restock and organize floral and event supplies.

  3. Event Coordination:

    • Prepare for upcoming events, including packing and organizing supplies.

    • Communicate with vendors, venues, and event planners to confirm logistics.

    • Support on-site event preparations if needed.

  4. Bookkeeping and Financial Tasks:

    • Assist with client billing, vendor payments, and reconciling accounts.

    • Light bookkeeping.

    Social Media and Marketing Support:

    • Assist with client follow-ups and promotional outreach.

    • When time allows assist with light social media content creation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in studio management, office administration, or event coordination.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic bookkeeping software.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in the floral or event design industry is a plus.

  • Social media management experience a plus.

Compensation:

  • $25/hour, 6-12 hours per week (Primarily Tuesday through Thursday). Flexibility during busy season a must.
